Anesthesia: a poetry piece
A sweet drug that confronts the ache:
unplugs the current, restores the silence,
dead yet still alive,
a zone of perfect nuance.
Life needs anesthesia:
to keep sanity and avoid mania,
preserve energy and escape paranoia.
Inch by inch, this world chafes your inside,
inject you with poison, and gives you medicine.
Replace reflections with emotions;
steering south all my attention.
I need a break from all this fudge;
I need a vacation from nonsense.
Somebody give me a dose of anesthetics.
Be all you can be.✌
